Take a Peek

I’m a young gun looking for a good time and good friends.

Hello, bonjour, hola, ciao, to you. You have entered the digital chambers of my blog whether it was on purpose or on accident. You were probably internet stalking your crush and woke up from your daydream finding yourself five accounts deep and one link later reading about a girl you’ve never heard of. On purpose or not I will invite you in with open arms!

At birth they started calling me Kirby Marie Kell and it has stuck ever since. I’m a small town girl who had dreams so big that they were about to bust the cap off of my little bitty town. I love where I grew up and appreciate it every day, but I have always known that one day I wanted to uproot myself and move on to bigger things. I now reside in the flatland of Conway, Arkansas where not a single pizza stick is found and it takes more than three minutes to get to a destination. My heart throbs for this place. While I do wish convenient stores would make bulk orders of pizza sticks, I actually enjoy the crowded streets. It gives me a sense of comfort and I feel as if I always have company. Also, it gives me time to jam out to one or two of my favorite songs from one of my many Spotify playlist.

Why Conway?  Well, the University of Central Arkansas is why. I am finishing up my Junior year as a Public Relations major and Business minor. I do believe my calling in life is to be an event planner. I believe it will give me a chance to make people feel special and take me to beautiful places I’ve never seen before.

Oh yea, this blog is about traveling. I KNOW, ANOTHER TRAVEL BLOG, UHHH!! Hear me out, I’m not here to talk to you about luxuries of travel and how to see the world from the 30th floor of the Ritz-Carlton. I am here to help you find a cheap and stressless way to see the world. Along my journey to help you I might sound crazy at times, but travel is exciting at all times of day and night and in the weirdest places. Usually that is where we receive our best memories, friends, and lessons. My good friends, the Dixie Chicks say it best when they say, “I’m taking The Long Way Round.

So I say to you, there are two roads to travel, the life of luxury or the life of connection. I encourage you to take the one less traveled.

Reach out to me when your mind is swarming, experiences were made and stories are dying to be told.
